How Allē Works
Understanding how Allē works is truly fundamental to the success of the loyalty program itself.
The goal is to provide our consumers the resources to successfully manage their experience; which encompasses Wallet (points, offers, gift cards and payment plans), Profile (A-List progress, Treatment History) and more. This page was built to serve as an educational reference, reachable from the Alle.com homepage, as well as within the app.
My role: Senior Product Designer
Collaborated with the following through end-to-end execution:
Product Managers, Copywriters, FE Engineers, QAs, Product Marketing, Design Managers
Old design
No longer represents the fresh face of Allē, in terms of typography, color, iconography, photography, tone of voice, etc
Was hard coded so required significant development time to make updates or changes
SolutionS
One of the main goals of this page was to redesign it to align with the rebrand. Others included:
Mobile friendly
Future proofing—by utilizing reusable components instead of being hard coded, for easier dev lift and future updates
Simplify the content into bite sized pieces, but keep it educational
Reusable components
These components were built and QA’d within Contentful in partnership with the Engineering teams in order to vastly accelerate production flows, and empower the brand creative teams to update content more freely.
Redesign
One thing that made this design successful is that we used the same language and graphic elements within the mobile and web app for consistency.
Making it accessible
After the redesign and rebrand of Allē, we also made sure that this and more educational content was easily accessible from the main navigation, as well as within relevant spaces, like within the wallet, as seen below:
